20 civilians killed by suspected Boko Haram at Cameroon-Nigeria border

YAOUNDE, April 17 (Xinhua) — 20 people were killed Friday morning during an attack by suspected Nigerian Islamic sect Boko Haram in a remote village at the Cameroon-Nigeria border, a military source told Xinhua over phone.
Since February 16, the activities of Boko Haram have been reduced in Cameroon due to the joint operation by the armies of Chad and Cameroon.
Out of the sight of the positions occupied by the Cameroon and Chadian joint forces, a group of militants Friday morning attacked Blabine, a place at the border of Cameroon and Nigeria, killing 20 people and taking away 200 oxen, according to an unofficial toll released to Xinhua by the military source.
