The draws of the U-23 African championship in football have been made public by the confederation of African football.
Cameroon did not feature in the first round but will take part only during the second round of the competition.
The schedule indicates that the winner of the first round will face Guinea Bissau and Sierra Leone and in case of victory, will take on Algeria in the third round.
According to the CAF communiqué, all players participating in the U-23 African Championship should be born on or after 1st January 1993.
The three qualifiers in the competition will participate in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio 2016.Meanwhile the draws for the U-20 women’s World Cup to take place in Papua New Guinea next year have also been made public.
